Description of Persona:
Physical:Tamina is 5'4 with straight brown hair and two big brown eyes. A slender nose and two slightly pouty lips fit well on her thin face, and she wears her her back lengthed hair up with a few whisps fraiming her jaw. The weaver could easily be considered petite and doesn't mind, she's never needed to be otherwise, and has thin nimbel fingers, highly adept at weaving. She prefers form fitting blue clothing, which does well to bring out her dark brown hair and eyes.
Mental Description: A strong leader's mind is hidden behind her insecurities and quirky sense of humor. She generally isn't swayed easily but f she wants to be she'll put up a weak effort, but ultimately conceed. She is generally open minded and gets along with most people there are a few traits she detests however ... betrayal, dishonesty, hippocracy ... and anything related to Merrick. She however is a good friend and will help anyone in a jam, or anyone in need of a tunic.
Brief History of Persona: Tamina was born in a Northern Weyr to a greenrider mother and a crafter father. Her mother didn't have time to raise her so she was given to her father to rear and subsequently developed a good relationship with him. And the father daughter pair were nearly inseperable, building sand weyrs every restday, and telling stories each night, until her 8thturn when he mysteriously vanished without a trace. Her mother Rinala, heartbroken by her weyrmate's disappearance couldn't bare to keep the child around and sent her to live with friends at a Southern weaver hall. Tamina was apprenticed the next turn as her desire to weave became apparent. However, life there didn't go smoothly. She often found herself the end of many jokes from the resident cool guy, Merrick, and his equally cool sidekick Jimkolin, as a result she became an outcast among the ranks and found her only company running errands for the masters. A few short turns later, at seventeen turns of age she became involved in a relationship with Jimkolin, who seemed to have made a comeback from enemy to devoted boyfriend. Being lonely for company of her own age she quickly bought into it. Their reltionship evolved quickly and she expected an espousal proposal. None came though and he dumped her soon after. After walking the tables she eagerly to escaped the hall, by taking assignment at Sea Breeze Weyr. Free of her past she returned to enjoying life and met Br'van, rider of bronze Volaranith who she quickly fell in love with. Adding to her joy she was searched for Quintesenth's next clutch, which happened to include a shinning gold egg.
Her bubbled world was shortlived, her old nemisis Merrick appeared in the candidate classes not much later, having also been searched. Despite the annoyances he presents and a later appearance of Jimkolin, she was determined to stay and awaits the hatching that would make her a dragonrider. Then on m5 d2, a stormy day marked by hail, the clutch began to hatch, and second egg to last she impressed the Little Queen Toriyath. Her new life has seemed quite dream like, and she loves her snooty little dragon, if not a bit over zealously.
Dragon Description:
Physical: Toriyath is a deep rich shade of gold, more akin to rings and bracelets than one would expect of dragon hide. Her skin is kept very soft from the dedication her lifemate puts into washing and oiling it and making sure it is free from foreign particles and annoyances. Her neck is a little bit longer than one would consider proportional, with her tail suffering teh same affliction, but it is supposed that she'll grow into them with time. The queen's other limbs are of a normal length, thought they are thick, and her paws are rather large. Toriyath's eyes are most oftened swirled blue, though it is not uncommon to see her eyes with anger towards another dragon or even the occasional person.
Emotional: Toriyath is a little snootier than your average gold dragon, she is queen and she knows it, lives by it, takes advantage of it, and shows it off every chance she gets. If she had her way she'd have a fleet of attendants coddling, praising, and worshiping her every move and showering her with food and affections. Of course she is just a tad upset that that isn't so, but she'll try her hardest to gather such a group. She is almost constantly hungry staying up late nights to play with her shreded supper, during which she demands constant companionship from Tamina. She is _very_ jealous and Toriyath would likely become hostile towards people her weyrling partner cares for. Other than having a slight "Me and my lifemate are better than everyone else" complex, she is a very agreeable dragon and will get along with anything or anyone that at least pretends to agree with her on that matter.
