Description: Physical:
Shelley is tall for her age, about 170 cms. She is slender and athletic, but
has a tendency to be extremely clumsy. She has curly blonde hair that falls
to her shoulders and unusually large green eyes that change to blue when she
is angry. She has very pale skin that tans quickly and burns easily. She
prefers to wear clothes that are more practical than feminine, a practice
that her mother strongly disapproves of.
Emotional: Shelley is surprisingly intelligent, but prefers to let people
think she is only average. She loves to have fun, and is very rarely seen
without a smile on her face. She can always find the best in any situation,
and is an eternally irritating optimist.
History: Shelley was born in the lower caverns of seabreeze, to a drudge
mother and a cook father. She was embarrassed her entire life about how
lowly and stupid her parents were. She was determined from the day she could
walk that she would make something of herself. Her parents never had much
time for her and instead she basically raised herself, with a bit of help
from people around the weyr. She was eight when she first met a dragon, and
from that day always dreamed of riding a fighting dragon. She was searched
at age twelve, and as usual her parents expressed complete disinterest when
she impressed her green, Arenewith.
Description of Dragon:
Physical: Arenewith is small and dainty, with green hide exactly the same shade as her riders eyes. Her tail and wings are long, and her body is well proportioned. She is as clumsy as her rider, and has a tendency to get tangled up in her own limbs.
Emotional: Arenewith is very solemn, and even Shelley sometimes has difficulty telling the difference between when she is joking and when she is being serious. She is as optimistic and cheerful as her rider, even if she doesn't show it in her demeanor.
