Description: Physical: Lerian is a rather handsome
young man. He stands at about 6'0" and weighs 170 lbs. with a trim,
athletic build and skin tanned from being outdoors. His jet black hair
stretches down to just above his shoulders and his ice blue eyes
twinkle. He usually wears low-key clothes, simple colors for both
everyday and formal occasions.
Emotional: Lerian is a somewhat sullen young man. Generally he is
outgoing and eager to make to make friends but people didn't want to
talk to him. He makes an effort to hide his feelings around others.
Since being Searched, he sees living at the Weyr as a chance to start
over and hopefully he would meet people who would talk to him and he
would meet that someone who he can share his feelings with.
History: Lerian was born at White Tides Seahold to a Sea Crafter father and a
Weaver mother, an only child. When he came of age, he entered his
father's craft. Lerian has had a rather hard luck life growing up. His
outgoing personality allowed him to make friends easily at first but
then all his friends moved away to their fosterings. He tried to make
more friends but they wouldn't talk to him. Then the person who he
thought was his best friend started courting the woman he loved but
could never approach.
Ever since those days he became lonely and depressed, never talking to
anyone unless necessary. He was Searched while he was mending nets one
day but his parents curtly denied the request to leave for the Weyr.
Their staunch refusal made Lerian even more withdrawn than ever before.
After seeing him grow more and more sullen, his parents finally allowed
him to leave.
Since coming to the Weyr, Lerian became determined to turn his life
around and to break out of the shell he put around himself.
