Warnings:
Warnings are issued for failing to meet the requirements of a specific persona you may have. It takes one month of full posting to make up for a warning. Then you have a clean slate. If, however, you go two months without posting, you get another warning and it will take two months of straight requirement meets to give you a clean slate. Three months without a LOA (leave of absence) and you get your third and final warning. The rank (or persona, if you wish) is voted out to someone else. If the persona does not go with the rank, he or she will be demoted.
Requirements/Lurkers:
As a PBeM, we do not have a zine or Role Play in a Chatroom like many online and offline Weyrs. Instead, we're something in between. We're online but we're not. Kinda like a Semi-online Weyr.
Everyone wants rank, but sadly...not everyone can have it. Some people create many high-ranking personas and then never post for them, leaving everyone with a MasterCraftsman or Wingleader who doesn't do anything!
To Remedy that, we have a system of Requirements. They're not too hard to meet and we won't throw you out or bite if you miss a few posts here and there. But if you go two months without making at least half of your requirements ( to keep the persona, however, you must meet all requirements) you will be issued a warning. More on this later, however.
Dragonriders
Weyrwoman/Weyrleader/Wingleader/Weyrlingmaster - 4IC posts, 2 Assignments (one every other week)
Weyrwoman's Second/WingSecond/Jr. Weyrlingmaster/Jr. Weyrwoman - 3 IC posts, Jr.Weyrlingmaster = 2 assignments
Wingthird/Bronzerider/Candidate Master/Searchriders - 2IC Posts, Candidate Master = 2 assignments
Other colors - no requirements, preferred at least one post a month
Lower Caverns
Headwoman - 3IC posts, Lower Caverns report
Assist. Headwoman - 2IC posts
Head Cook - 2IC posts
Crafters
Craft/Hall Master - 4 IC posts, 2 Craft Assignments
Master - 3 IC posts, 2 Assignments (if no Hall/Craft Master active)
Journeypeople - 2 IC posts
Apprentices - No requirements, prefered at least 1 post a month
Holders
Lord/Lady Holders - 3 IC posts, Hold Reports twice a month
Minor Holders - 2 IC posts, Tithe Reports (or Major Hold)
Cot Holders - No requirements, prefered at least 1 post a month
Lord/Lady Heirs - 3 IC Posts per month
Other
Gold flit owners - 2 IC posts a month and post about flight, clutching and giving out eggs
Bronze flit owners - 1 IC post minimum
HAD - 3 IC posts
HAF - 2 IC posts
QCs - 3 IC posts
**If someone has a warning, they can not recieve any more rank, metallic flits included.
**If a bronzerider/bronze flit has warnings, that flit or dragon may not fly a gold dragon or flit
**Two warnings in a row (two months of not meeting requirements) results in the loss of the rank, but not the persona. (A wingleader demoted back to wingrider, keeping the color of his mount)
**If a person is on LOA for over half the month or has not had a rank for half of the month, half of the requirements may be filled as a minimum to keep the persona, however, the LOA tracker must be notified.
**Warnings approved by the BoD, then issued to the persons individually by the LOA/Reqs tracker...at this time, no excuses will be taken into consideration, the LOA/Reqs tracker gives out 'one week left' warnings to those who have yet to meet their reqs.
Lurkers are accepted, but everyone with a persona is urged to post at least once a month per persona, but if it is not a ranking persona, you do not have to. And if you hold two positions (Wingleader that rides bronze) you do the higher of the two, not a combination of both.
Also, we may ask you to limit how many ranking personae you ask for. If the spot is open and you already have one or two other rankers and someone else wants it - we may ask you to drop one of your current ranks or give someone else a shot - it's nice to share the wealth, you know.
