Description: A'dellan is a good looking guy. He
stands at about 6'1 and has a muscular build from his Turns of
dragonriding. He's in good physical condition and has been most of his
life. He has white-blonde hair, light blue eyes, and nice smile to top
off his facial expression. Another feature to him is a noticeable scar
on his upper left arm; from a knife fight Turns ago. Emotionally,
A'dellan is stable. He has a nice sense of humor, is understanding, and
a loyal friend and dragonrider. He can be painfully headstrong when
leadership skills are needed from him - but not always.
History:
Born and raised in the south, Andellan was a hard working
lad in his younger years. He was put to work by his father and was
encouraged to join a craft to suit the Hold's needs. He chose
DragonHealing and studied and practiced the craft as often as he could.
One of his duties was to follow the MasterHealer during his errands to
get direct training from him. When traveling with the MasterHealer,
Andellan journeyed off occasionally to explore the new Hold, or Weyr.
Among his adventures at a Weyr, he found an abandoned - well hidden -
Firelizard clutch. He looked over all the eggs and noticed the largest
one right off. The MasterHealing bellowed for Andellan's assistance and
as quickly as he could, the boy snatched the egg and smuggled it back..
where no one saw what he did.
Andellan returned to the Hold and dashed to his room to deposit the egg.
It was very warm and quite heavy as he lay the egg down on a few furs.
He went to bed and woke to a surprise - the egg had hatched! The little
gold lizard who had emerged from the shell was creeling hungerly and
loudly. Andellan fed it.. and fed it.. and fed it..
At age 16, Andellan was Searched for SeaBreeze Weyr. He was loaded onto
a bluedragon's back and was taken to the candidate barracks. He stood
at the Hatching and Impressed bronze, Hulth. Weyrlinghood went by
quickly and he graduated into a full fledged dragonrider.
Now living at the Weyr, A'dellan is a faithful rider to his wing and is
content with his life. Mounted on his bronze and with his little Queen
on his shoulder, he is a sight Pern is proud of.
Dragon Description: Hulth is a large and mighty bronze full of
dertimination. He is a brassy bronze and shines noticeably when basking
on ledges. Tones of gold and light brown are mixed in his hide, making
him quite nice to look at.
Pet Description: Isha is your typical Queen: haughty, testy, easily made
angry. She's very affectionate towards A'dellan and loves him dearly.
The little Gold is quite protective over him too, and enjoys playing
cupid for him. Most relations A'dellan had, were because of Isha's
scheming.
She is quite pretty when her golden hide shines in the sunlight. Her
eyes normally whirl a steady blue/green color which adds to her
appearance.
